The good news of big advertisers returning on Twitter has already reached Elon Musk. In fact, he already shared that news on the social media platform by making a tweet. That ignites media reports which say that Apple and Amazon are among the big companies resuming advertising on Twitter. Based on the media reports, the social media platform did make efforts to convince big companies to return to advertising—emails about the dded incentives were sent to big advertisers.

As expected of the caliber of Elon Musk and Twitter, the incentives are not just any ordinary offer. Well, it is even labeled as the “biggest advertiser incentive ever on Twitter” by media reports. According to the email, U.S. advertisers who book $500,000 and up in incremental spending are qualified to receive the incentive of spending matched with a “100% value add.” That’s why it is unsurprising that there are advertisers convinced to resume advertising on the social media platform.

Let’s get to know more about the news of big advertisers resuming advertising on Twitter.

More about the news

A news reporter created a buzz about Amazon and Twitter by tweeting that the company plans to resume making advertisements on the social media platform at about $100 million a year. Yet, according to a reliable source on the matter, Amazon doesn’t stop advertising on Twitter. That said, even with significant changes, Amazon is said to have been loyal to the social media platform.

On the other hand, Elon Musk announced in a tweet that Apple is the largest advertiser on the platform and has “fully resumed” advertising.

Later on, he tweeted about thanking advertisers for returning to Twitter. Many people viewed the news that Elon Musk is on his way to getting what he wants for Twitter despite having a rough start in managing the social media platform.

Elon Musk and Twitter

It is hard to deny that not everyone is pleased with the news about Elon Musk taking over Twitter. Immediately he resumed office, Musk has already faced hard struggles and ruled by slashing staff, including employees.

Besides that, Twitter’s advertising revenue has significantly dropped. This leads to inevitable and repeatedly cut off the platform’s internal revenue projections. Musk even said bankruptcy was still not ruled out before the news about advertisers made headlines.

It is not wrong to say that Elon Musk didn’t have it easy in taking over Twitter. While there are fun memes about it, many issues about the platform made headlines. Because of that, it is quite interesting that big advertisers, such as Apple and Amazon, are fully returning to advertising on Twitter.

Now, the question is the news insinuating that the social media platform will generate a higher revenue than before? Well, we still have to observe what will happen later on, especially if the offered incentive is to bring back the success of Twitter.
